Detailed explanation-1: -New Delhi, Aug 24 () The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy today said 126 MW wind power capacity, part of country’s first inter state transmission system (ISTS) auction, is commissioned in Bhuj.

Detailed explanation-2: -The first wind farms in India were installed in the year 1986. It was set up in coastal areas of maharsthra (Ratnagiri), Gujarat (Okha), and Tamil Nadu (Tirunelveli).

Detailed explanation-4: -First Offshore Wind Project of India (FOWPI) is planned to achieve 200MW sized offshore wind farm near the coast of Gujarat, approx. 25km from Jafarabad.
