Detailed explanation-1: -On June 8, 1936, the Indian State Broadcasting Service became All India Radio. The Central News Organisation (CNO) came into existence in August, 1937.

This company was taken over by the Government and in March 1935, the office of Controller of broadcasting was started in India.
