Detailed explanation-1: -In 1859, Sir Syed wrote a booklet“Asbab-e-Baghawat-e-Hind” (The Causes of Indian Revolt), in which he highlighted that British were the equal responsible as Hindus and Muslims. He also mentioned that the policies of British government that were the main cause to uprising revolt of 1857.

Detailed explanation-2: -He founded the United Indian Patriotic Association in 1888 mainly intended to oppose the Congress. Note: Sir Syed Ahmad Khan believed that the future of Muslims was threatened by the rigidity of their orthodox outlook.
