Question [CLICK ON ANY CHOICE TO KNOW THE RIGHT ANSWER]
Ancient Greek homes had a bathroom
A
True
B
False
C
Either A or B
D
None of the above
Explanation:

Detailed explanation-1: -The ancient Greeks actually lived in homes made of sun-dried mud bricks. Unfortunately, their walls weren’t very strong. It was common for houses to crumble into pieces and most had to be rebuilt. The roofs of the homes were made of clay tiles and the windows were small and covered with wooden shutters.

Detailed explanation-2: -These toilets consisted of slabs of marble (for elite citizens) or limestone which were flat and had interspaced holes along the length of it. Essentially, they were long benches out in the open that typically had pipes of flowing water beneath them. This allowed the waste to “flush” to another place.

Detailed explanation-3: -Public toilets were called foricae. They were often attached to public baths, whose water was used to flush down the filth.

Detailed explanation-4: -The small, often private, bathing buildings were called balneae. The term comes from the Greek balaneion (-“bath”). The large imperial baths complexes were referred to as thermae (from the Greek adjective thermos ()-“hot”).
