Cubism
B
Surrealism
C

D
Romanticism
Explanation:

Detailed explanation-1: -During Analytic Cubism (1910–12), also called “hermetic, ‘’ Picasso and Braque so abstracted their works that they were reduced to just a series of overlapping planes and facets mostly in near-monochromatic browns, grays, or blacks.

Detailed explanation-2: -In around 1907 Pablo Picasso, along with his friend Georges Braque, invented a new style of painting called cubism. Inspired by African sculpture, Picasso and Braque used simple shapes and a small range of colours to paint objects, people and landscapes.

Detailed explanation-3: -The name ‘cubism’ seems to have derived from a comment made by the critic Louis Vauxcelles who, on seeing some of Georges Braque’s paintings exhibited in Paris in 1908, described them as reducing everything to ‘geometric outlines, to cubes’.

Detailed explanation-4: -Cube-like imagery, as well as other geometric forms like cones, spheres and cylinders often appear in early Cubist paintings and again later in the movement in Cubist sculptures. Cubists felt they could portray a subject’s form more accurately by using geometric shapes to represent its various sides and angles.
