Detailed explanation-1: -Vinaya Piṭaka, (Pāli and Sanskrit: “Basket of Discipline”), the oldest and smallest of the three sections of the Buddhist canonical Tipiṭaka (“Triple Basket”) and the one that regulates monastic life and the daily affairs of monks and nuns according to rules attributed to the Buddha.

Detailed explanation-2: -Often called the Discipline Basket, the Vinaya Pitaka comprises the collection of rules given to the community of Buddhist believers. In its pages are found the rules and regulations by which a Buddhist congregation of believers, called a Sangha, should operate.
