Detailed explanation-1: -Hold the Shift (or Ctrl) key and click the objects you want to group. Click the Group command on the Format tab, then select Group. The selected objects will now be grouped.

Command or Control + Click once, and it selects through that frame to the next object down. Command or Control + Click again, and it selects the frame in the back.
