Detailed explanation-1: -India’s first Defence Industrial Park will be set up in Ottappalam, Kerala. The proposed 231 crore defence components park is to be established in Ottapalam, Kerala. It was to be set up as a part of Union government’s flagship Make in India programme and the state governments make in Kerala project.
