Detailed explanation-1: -Shore Temple, complex of elegant shrines (c. 700 ce), one among a number of Hindu monuments at Mamallapuram (Mahabalipuram), on the Coromandel Coast of Tamil Nadu state, India. It is considered the finest early example of medieval southern Indian temple architecture.

Said to have been constructed by King Rajasimha, it is a good example of the first phase of structural temples constructed in the Dravidian style of architecture. This was a busy port during the reign of Narasimhavarman II.
