Detailed explanation-1: -Flight Lieutenant Suhas Biswas, AC (9 September 1924 – 1 September 1957) was an Officer in the Indian Air Force who was the first Air Force Officer to be awarded the Ashoka Chakra, India’s highest peacetime military award, in the year of 1953.
Detailed explanation-2: -He force landed the aircraft in open area near the Sandila Railway Station. All the occupants walked out of the crashed aircraft unhurt with the pilot. For his brave skillful effort, he was conferred with Ashok Chakra.
