Detailed explanation-1: -An Act to consolidate and amend the laws relating to the procedure of the Courts of Civil Judicature. 1. Short title, commencement and extent-(1) This Act may be cited as the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908. (2) It shall come into force on the first day of January, 1909.
Detailed explanation-2: -(1) Where any person other than the judgment debtor is dispossessed of immovable property by the holder of a decree for the possession of such property or, where such property has been sold in execution of a decree, by the purchaser thereof, he may make an application to the court complaining of such dispossession.
