Detailed explanation-1: -WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for the constitution and incorporation of Bar Councils for certain Courts to confer powers and impose duties on such Bar Councils, and to consolidate and amend the law relating to legal practioners entitled to practice in such Courts.
Detailed explanation-2: -Bar Council to be body corporate.-Every Bar Council shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal, with power to acquire and hold property, both moveable and immovable, and to contract, and may by the name by which it is known sue and be sued.
Detailed explanation-3: -ACT NO. 25 OF 1961 [19th May, 1961.] An Act to amend and consolidate the law relating to the legal practitioners and to provide for the constitution of Bar Councils and an All-India Bar.
