Detailed explanation-1: -Under the marriage validation Act of 1892 under section 4 such a certificate shall be issued recognizing the validity of marriage between a Christian and non Christian. The Marriage Validation Act is equally applicable to marriages solemnized under Marriage Act of 1872 .
Detailed explanation-2: -In 1922 the Special Marriage Act 1872 was amended to make it available to Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists and Jains for marrying within these four communities without renouncing their religion. As so amended, the Act remained in force until after independence.
Detailed explanation-3: –Every person licensed under this Act to grant certificates of marriages, and keeping a marriage-register-book under section 62 shall, at all reasonable times, allow search to be made in such book, and shall, on payment of the proper fee, give a copy, certified under his hand, of any entry therein.
