Detailed explanation-1: -In the urban areas, unorganised sector comprises mainly of workers in small-scale industry, casual workers in construction, trade and transportation etc. and those who work as street vendors, head load workers, garment workers, rag pickers, etc.

Detailed explanation-2: -It includes agricultural labourers; low paid labour in small manufacturing and services in rural and urban areas; casual labour; handloom and power-loom workers; bidi and cigar workers; sweepers and scavengers; and others like rag-pickers, self-employed and small professionals like electricians, plumbers etc.
