Detailed explanation-1: -Bahādur Shāh II, also called Bahādur Shāh Ẓafar, (born October 24, 1775, Delhi, India-died November 7, 1862, Rangoon [now Yangon], Myanmar), the last Mughal emperor of India (reigned 1837–57). He was a poet, musician, and calligrapher, more an aesthete than a political leader.

Detailed explanation-2: -In 1856, Lord Canning decided that Bahadur Shah Zafar would be the last Mughal king and after his death, none of his descendants would be recognized as a ruler – they would just be called princes. This disrespectful behaviour towards the Mughal Emperor is also one of the political reasons for the revolt of 1857.
