The place situated not very far from Delhi is well known for its hot water springs. The water is strongly sulphurous and its temperature varies from 46$^circ$C to 51.7 $^circ$C. As per legend Arjuna dug these wells.In ancient times the place is believed to have been the abode of hermits and the main kund (tank), called Shiv Kund, is said to have medicinal properties and curative effects.
