Detailed explanation-1: -Abstract. The original conception of Ayurveda in its entirety is essentially linked to Dhanwantari who is considered as God of Hindu Medicine. Dhanwantari is considered a mythical deity born with ambrosia in one hand and Ayurveda on the other at the end of the churning of milk ocean.

Detailed explanation-2: -Charaka is called ‘Father of Ayurveda’. In his book ‘Charaka Samhita’ he had mentioned about 340 plant types and about 200 animal types.

Detailed explanation-3: -We were heading to Chintaluru village, in East Godavari district where one finds Andhra Pradesh’s earliest dedicated temple to Dhanvantri, the Hindu god of health and specifically Ayurveda. It is also one of the few of its kind in India.
