Detailed explanation-1: -Section 11 of the Act provides the procedure of disclosure of ‘third party’ information.

Detailed explanation-2: -The PIO within 40 days after receipt of the request, make a decision as to whether or not to disclose the information or record or part thereof related to the third party and give in writing the notice of his decision to the third party.

Detailed explanation-3: -For example, any information which is exempted from disclosure under Section 8 of RTI Act, 2005 is liable to be disclosed if the application is made with regard to the occurrence or event which took place or occurred or happened twenty years prior to the date of the request vide Section 8(3) of the RTI Act.
