Detailed explanation-1: -The Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 is an Act of the Parliament of India to control and prevent air pollution in India. The law was amended in 1987. This was the first attempt by the government of India to combat air pollution.
Detailed explanation-2: -As a result, the Indian government passed specific laws under Article 253 of the Indian Constitution for the preservation of natural resources, with The Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, of 1981 being the law passed for the preservation of air.
