Detailed explanation-1: -The inguinal lymph nodes are in the groin area and classify as superficial and deep. The superficial inguinal lymph nodes reside below the inguinal ligament and subdivide into the inferior, superolateral, and superomedial nodes.

Detailed explanation-2: -It is also called as “Femoral Triangle of Scarpa”. There are approximately 5–6 deep inguinal lymph nodes and 10 superficial lymph nodes. Superficial lymph nodes drain to the deep inguinal lymph nodes.
