Detailed explanation-1: -Detailed Solution. Right to Information was enacted in 2005. It was passed by the Parliament of India to all states and Union Territories. It empowers the citizen with information and transparency about the working and decisions of the government.
Detailed explanation-2: -As per section 24 of the Right to Information Act, 2005, this Act shall not apply to the intelligence and security organizations specified in the Second Schedule, being organizations established by the Central Government or any information furnished by such organizations to that Government.
Detailed explanation-3: -Exempted organisations. As per section 24 of the Act, intelligence and security organisations, both central and state, are exempted from the RTI Act except in cases of corruption or human rights violation.
