Detailed explanation-1: -In normal course, information to an applicant shall be supplied within 30 days from the receipt of application by the public authority. If information sought concerns the life or liberty of a person, it shall be supplied within 48 hours.

Detailed explanation-2: -In such a case, you are required to file your appeal in physical mode to the concerned public authority. 2) Another case can be if your RTI application has not been replied to by CPIO and 30 days period has not lapsed. In such a case, you may file first appeal only after completion of stipulated time period of 30 days.

Detailed explanation-3: -After 30 (+7 days for postal transit time) but within 60 days from the date of receipt of RTI Application at PIO’s Office.

Detailed explanation-4: -provide the information immediately. The information should be over 20 year old.
