Detailed explanation-1: -The Indian Lac Cess Act, 1930 (24 of 1930) Section 1.-For sub-section (2), substitute-“(2) It extends to the whole of India: Provided that it shall not apply to the State of Jammu and Kashmir except to the extent to which the provisions of this Act relate to the levy and collection of the cess specified therein.”.
