Concept note-1: -The Mahabharata battle, which took place in Kurukshetra, lasted a total of 18 days. The Mahabharata epic revolves around the Pandavas and Kauravas as well as the conflict at Kurukshetra. The sage Ved Vyasa wrote the Mahabharata with the help of Lord Ganesha, who took down his dictation and penned the entire epic.
Concept note-2: -Many historians estimate the date of the Kurukshetra war to Iron Age India of the 10th century BCE. The setting of the epic has a historical precedent in Iron Age (Vedic) India, where the Kuru kingdom was the center of political power during roughly 1200 to 800 BCE.
Concept note-3: -A battles length in a war could differ greatly. It can be a couple of hours, but also could take months and months. The battle what I will be talking about will exclude all sieges due to the slight difference of the standard length. Up to the 19th century, warfare was conducted by battles.
Concept note-4: -3102 BCE. The war took place in Kurukshetra. Despite only spanning eighteen days, the war takes more than a quarter of the Mahabharata.
