Concept note-1: -Grievance 1 "He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.” The Colonial assemblies passed various legislation, including ones on governing their slaves, creating colonial currencies, and requesting representatives to be sent to the British Parliament.
Concept note-2: -The three main themes of the colonists’ complaints are individual rights, representation, and taxation. Individual rights are rights guaranteed to people.
