Concept note-1: -The King is a tyrant, because he keeps standing armies in the colonies during a time of peace, makes the military power superior to the civil government, and forces the colonists to support the military presence through increased taxes.
Concept note-2: -His reign was shaped by the Seven Years’ War (1756–1763), the Irish Rebellion (1798), and the French Revolution (1783–1815), but he is best known as the “tyrant, ” called “unfit to be the ruler of a free people” in the Declaration of Independence (1776), who lost the American Revolution (1775–1783).
