Concept note-1: -Estimates for the total number killed in wars throughout all of human history range from 150 million to 1 billion.

Concept note-2: -The “Tamil Centre for Human Rights” recorded that from 1983 to 2004, 54, 053 Tamil civilians were killed during the war and another 25, 266 were made to disappeared but never found again.
