Concept note-1: -Imperialism occurs when a strong nation takes over a weaker nation or region and dominates its economic, political, and cultural life. These new areas or weaker regions were called Colonies.

Concept note-3: -Imperialism can be defined as a doctrine, political strategy, practice, state policy, or advocacy that consists in extending power by territorial acquisition or by extending political and economic control outward over other areas.

Concept note-4: -Imperialism is when one country exercises power over another through various methods of control. It describes an economic, political, and social system in which one country subjugates others, and brings them under its control.
