Concept note-1: -Patriotism is a healthy pride in your country that brings about feelings of loyalty and a desire to help other citizens. Nationalism is the belief that your country is superior, without question or doubt.
Concept note-2: -It is both the pride or sense of esteem that a person has for one’s nation and the pride or self-esteem that a person derives from one’s national identity. National pride is related to feelings of patriotism and nationalism.
Concept note-3: -According to Webster’s, patriotism is “love for and devotion to one’s country.” But that simple definition is woefully inadequate. Patriotism inspires us. It unites us. It fills our hearts with pride and optimism. And sometimes it brings us to tears.
