Concept note-1: -The Hundred Days Offensive was a series of attacks by the Allied troops at the end of World War I. Starting on August 8, 1918, and ending with the Armistice on November 11, the Offensive led to the defeat of the German Army.

Concept note-2: -September 26, 1918 Allied forces begin the attack at Meusse-Argonne, the final offensive of the war.

Concept note-3: -The last German offensives (Operations Gneisenau and Marneshutz–Reims) in June–July failed. The latter, later dubbed the Second Battle of the Marne, was notable for a devastating counter-attack by the French Tenth Army, supported by American and British forces, which threw the Germans off-balance.

Concept note-4: -The Hundred Days Offensive began on August 8, 1918, with the Battle of Amiens. The battle involved over 400 tanks and 120, 000 British, Dominion, and French troops, and by the end of its first day a gap 15 miles long had been created in the German lines.
