Concept note-1: -The treaty of Rapallo which Germany and the Soviet Russia signed on Easter Sunday 1922 during the Genoa conference, was the first serious challenge to the post-Versailles political system.
Concept note-2: -During the conference, the Soviet government managed to conclude the Treaty of Rapallo of 1922 with Germany. On behalf of Russia (RSFSR), the agreement was signed by Georgi Chicherin; on behalf of Germany (Weimar Republic) – by Walther Rathenau.
Concept note-3: -The Treaty of Rapallo was an agreement signed on 16 April 1922 between the German Republic and Soviet Russia under which both renounced all territorial and financial claims against each other and opened friendly diplomatic relations.
Concept note-4: -The Second Treaty of Rapallo (1922) was more important. It recorded an agreement between Germany and the Soviet Union. The two countries agreed to abandon any financial claims that each might bring against the other following World War I.
Concept note-5: -The Treaty of Rapallo was a treaty between the Kingdom of Italy and the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (renamed Yugoslavia in 1929) that was signed to solve the dispute over some territories in the former Austrian Littoral, which was in the northern Adriatic, as well as in Dalmatia.
