Concept note-1: -Soviet Russia and the USA were not a part of the League of Nations. The League of Nations was an organisation formed based on 14 points presented by the then American President Woodrow Wilson during the Paris Peace Process on January 10, 1920. Q. Which of the following countries were not a part of League of Nations?
Concept note-2: -The League of Nations was established at the end of World War I as an international peacekeeping organization. Although US President Woodrow Wilson was an enthusiastic proponent of the League, the United States did not officially join the League of Nations due to opposition from isolationists in Congress.
Concept note-3: -The United States never joined the League. Most historians hold that the League operated much less effectively without U.S. participation than it would have otherwise. However, even while rejecting membership, the Republican Presidents of the period, and their foreign policy architects, agreed with many of its goals.
Concept note-4: -Russia was expelled out of League of Nations for invading Finland and USA never joined the league, ironic because it was America who designed it and these were the two major countries who were not members of League of Nations. Was this answer helpful?
Concept note-5: -Non-membership of the League of Nations Despite Woodrow Wilson chairing the committee which drafted the Treaty of Versailles Covenant, America voted against becoming official members of the League of Nations in 1919.
