Henry Ford used the idea of specialization of labor when he introduced the assembly line to the process of car production. What effect did the use of the assembly line have on the production of cars?

Concept note-1: -An important outcome of the moving assembly line was the drop in price for the Model T. In 1908, the car sold for $825 and by 1925 it only sold for only $260, making the car more affordable to individuals everywhere.

Concept note-2: -On December 1, 1913, Henry Ford installs the first moving assembly line for the mass production of an entire automobile. His innovation reduced the time it took to build a car from more than 12 hours to one hour and 33 minutes.

Concept note-3: -Ford introduced several innovations to the car industry, including the moving assembly line method of production, which had a major impact on vehicle manufacturing as well as the American economy more broadly.

Concept note-4: -Henry Ford added the idea of an assembly line to his theory of scientific management. He had the mainframe built first, then it moved down the line to assemble more individualized parts. Finally, raw materials were added and smaller parts that actually required assembly were added to the automobile.
