Concept note-1: -The Treaty of Paris ended the Spanish-American War, concluding Spanish colonial rule and granting US territories in the Pacific and Latin America. A new power with overseas colonies was born. The Treaty of Paris was signed in 1898 between the United States of America and the Kingdom of Spain.

Concept note-2: -The Treaty of Paris of 1763 ended the French and Indian War/Seven Years’ War between Great Britain and France, as well as their respective allies. In the terms of the treaty, France gave up all its territories in mainland North America, effectively ending any foreign military threat to the British colonies there.

Concept note-3: -The Treaty of Paris was signed by U.S. and British Representatives on September 3, 1783, ending the War of the American Revolution. Based on a1782 preliminary treaty, the agreement recognized U.S. independence and granted the U.S. significant western territory.

Concept note-4: -The 1763 Treaty of Paris officially ended the Seven Years’ War (1756–1763) between France and Great Britain. Through this treaty, France ceded all of New France to Great Britain, with the exception of Louisiana, which had become a Spanish holding the previous year.

Concept note-5: -In the 1783 TREATY OF PARIS the British agreed to recognize American independence as far west as the Mississippi River. Americans agreed to honor debts owed to British merchants from before the war and to stop persecuting British Loyalists.
