Concept note-1: -Isolationism is a political philosophy advocating a national foreign policy that opposes involvement in the political affairs, and especially the wars, of other countries. Thus, isolationism fundamentally advocates neutrality and opposes entanglement in military alliances and mutual defense pacts.

Concept note-2: -isolationism, national policy of avoiding political or economic entanglements with other countries.

Concept note-3: -One example of isolationism is China. China cut itself off from the world in the fifteenth century and generally tried to stay isolated from that point forward. While China had sent out huge expeditions in the late 14th and early 15th centuries, no more expeditions sailed later on.

Concept note-4: -A neutral country is a state that is neutral towards belligerents in a specific war or holds itself as permanently neutral in all future conflicts (including avoiding entering into military alliances such as NATO, CSTO or the SCO).

Concept note-5: -Internationalist | (n.) A person who believes in a national policy or doctrine that seeks to increase cooperation across national borders. Isolationist | (n.) A person who believes in a national policy of avoiding political or economic involvement (e.g., international agreements, treaties) with other countries.
