Concept note-1: -Delegates signed the Treaty of Versailles in the former palace’s famous Hall of Mirrors, ending World War I. On June 28, 1919, the Treaty of Versailles was signed at the Palace of Versailles outside Paris, France.
Concept note-2: -The Treaty of Versailles was signed by Germany and the Allied Nations on June 28, 1919, formally ending World War One. The terms of the treaty required that Germany pay financial reparations, disarm, lose territory, and give up all of its overseas colonies.
Concept note-3: -The treaty was signed at the vast Versailles Palace near Paris – hence its title – between Germany and the Allies. The three most important politicians there were David Lloyd George, Georges Clemenceau and Woodrow Wilson.
