Concept note-1: -What were the main goals of the Allies’ post-war policies toward the defeated Axis countries? They wanted to encourage the create of democratic governments, encourage tolerance and peace, protect the basic rights of citizens, and punish war criminals.

Concept note-2: -The common purpose of the Allies was to defeat the Axis powers and create a peaceful post-war world. Its creation was a response to the aggression and unprovoked war the Axis had unleashed upon the world.

Concept note-3: -Allied forces defeated Germans because Germany could be attacked from all sides. Russians fought against the Germans very hard. United States produced a lot of things for the soldiers to use. Allied bombing cut off Germans oil supplies and German Air force Planes could not fly.

Concept note-4: -The total man power available to Allies from Russia and America was far greater than the limited manpower of Germany and Japan. The military production of the Allies far exceeded the production of the Axis, even without the large loses of military production due to Allie bombing.
