Concept note-1: -On August 6, 1945, the American bomber Enola Gay dropped a five-ton bomb over the Japanese city of Hiroshima. A blast equivalent to the power of 15, 000 tons of TNT reduced four square miles of the city to ruins and immediately killed 80, 000 people.

Concept note-2: -At 8:15 on August 6, 1945, the world’s first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima.

Concept note-3: -The atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were the detonation of two atomic bombs over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on 6 and 9 August 1945 by the United States.

Concept note-4: -This gun-type uranium bomb, nicknamed Little Boy, weighed 9, 700 pounds. The bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, August 6, 1945, at 8:15 AM. A B-29 dropped the bomb from 31, 000 feet.

Concept note-5: -Little Boy fell almost six miles in 43 seconds before detonating at an altitude of 2, 000 feet. The bomb exploded with the force of more than 15, 000 tons of TNT directly over a surgical clinic, 500 feet from the Aioi Bridge.
