Concept note-1: -On August 6, 1945, the American bomber Enola Gay dropped a five-ton bomb over the Japanese city of Hiroshima. A blast equivalent to the power of 15, 000 tons of TNT reduced four square miles of the city to ruins and immediately killed 80, 000 people.
Concept note-2: -At 8:15 on August 6, 1945, the world’s first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima.
Concept note-3: -The atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were the detonation of two atomic bombs over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on 6 and 9 August 1945 by the United States.
