EXPLANATIONS BELOW
Concept note-1: -A treaty is a written agreement between countries in which they agree to do a particular thing or to help each other. A formal peace treaty was signed later that year.
Concept note-2: -An agreement between two countries is called “bilateral, ” while an agreement between several countries is “multilateral.” The countries bound by an international agreement are generally referred to as “States Parties.” Under international law, a treaty is any legally binding agreement between states (countries).
Concept note-3: -"Treaty means an international agreement concluded between States in written form and governed by international law, whether embodied in a single instrument, or in two or more related instruments and whatever its particular designation."
Concept note-4: -Treaties are binding agreements between nations and become part of international law. Treaties to which the United States is a party also have the force of federal legislation, forming part of what the Constitution calls ‘’the supreme Law of the Land. ‘’ The Senate does not ratify treaties.
Concept note-5: -Ans. There are two types of treaties, Bilateral and Multilateral; when only two states are involved, the legal instrument is called a bilateral treaty. Two states agree on mutually benefited areas of concern.
