Concept note-1: -During both World Wars, posters were meant to instill people with a positive and patriotic outlook on the conflict. Posters were encouraging not just men to join the army, but every citizen of the United States to contribute to the war effort and do their part, whether at home or abroad.
Concept note-2: -Propaganda posters sought to rally the fighting spirit on the home front, raise money for war bonds, and create a sense of togetherness across a vast and diverse nation.
Concept note-3: -How did some propaganda posters encourage people to help the war effort? It could arouse frightened and worried feelings and national pride. How did some propaganda posters play on people’s fears? It would make them frightened that they could be the ones being killed/hurt/robbed.
