EXPLANATIONS BELOW
Concept note-1: -Advocates of the myth denounced the German government leaders who had signed the Armistice of 11 November 1918 as the “November criminals” (Novemberverbrecher).
Concept note-2: -Answer: A group of people composed mainly of socialists, democrats and Catholics were found to be openly supporting the Weimar republic and were considered the November Criminals. The November criminals were the group of people who were thought to be responsible for signing the treaty of Versailles.
Concept note-3: -Answer: November criminals are those who supported Weimar Republic mainly socialists, Catholics, democrats as they were thought to be responsible for treaty of versailles. It was the Weimar Republic who accepted and signed the treaty of versailles with the Allies.
Concept note-4: -Separatists had nothing to do with the November Criminals. They did not belong to a political party. So, they were not November Criminals.
Concept note-5: -The Weimar Republic was Germany’s government from 1919 to 1933, the period after World War I until the rise of Nazi Germany. It was named after the town of Weimar where Germany’s new government was formed by a national assembly after Kaiser Wilhelm II abdicated.
