Concept note-1: -In 1923, Hitler and his supporters attempted a coup in Bavaria. This seminal event was later called the Beer Hall Putsch.

Concept note-2: -Nazism is a political ideology rooted in the nineteenth-century German racialist (völkisch) movement, emerging in the context of Germany’s defeat in WW1, the counter-revolutionary movement, and the rise of fascism in Europe.

Concept note-3: -Hitler was demanding Danzing corridor from Poland as it was inhabited mainly by the Germans. Realizing the danger, Britain and France pledged assistance to Poland against Germany. Germany accused Poland for committing atrocities against Germans living there and it became a cause of World War Second.

Concept note-4: -The immediate precipitating event was the invasion of Poland by Nazi Germany on September 1, 1939, and the subsequent declarations of war on Germany made by Britain and France, but many other prior events have been suggested as ultimate causes.
