Concept note-1: -Clinton was the first first lady Arkansas to be employed during their husband’s governorship. She was the first female associate at the firm. She specialized in patent infringement and intellectual property law while working pro bono in child advocacy; she rarely performed litigation work in court.
Concept note-2: -Rose Law Firm entered the national news during the 1990s as part of the Whitewater controversy, as investigators sought to determine how much work Clinton had done for the firm while representing Jim McDougal in cases involving the latter’s Madison Guaranty and Castle Grande enterprises.
