Explanation:

Detailed explanation-1: -Blood is pumped through the valves into the ventricles. Where the atria meet the ventricles, there is an area of special cells (called the atrio-ventricular node) which pass the electrical signals throughout your heart muscle by a system of electrical pathways, known as the conducting system.

Detailed explanation-2: -The oxygen-rich blood returns to the heart through the left atrium and eventually into the left ventricle. This chamber then pumps blood to the other organs of the body through the aorta.

Detailed explanation-3: -With each beat, it pumps about 55-80 ml (1/3 cup) of blood for adults and about 25-85 ml per beat for kids. About 6, 000-7, 500 litres (1, 500-2, 000 gallons) of blood is pumped daily by an adult heart. The average adult body contains about five quarters of the blood that circulates continuously throughout the body.
