Detailed explanation-1: -The ciliary body is the tissue which covers the inner part of the anterior segment of the eye coating. It is composed of the ciliary muscle and processes. On the surface of the ciliary body is the black ciliary epithelium, which produces the aqueous humour.

The aqueous humor then flows through the pupil into the anterior chamber. The ciliary body is attached to the lens by connective tissue called the zonular fibers (fibers of Zinn).
