Concept note-1: -The Open Door policy was a statement of principles initiated by the United States in 1899 and 1900. It called for protection of equal privileges for all countries trading with China and for the support of Chinese territorial and administrative integrity.

Concept note-2: -From 1900 to 1915, the basic goal of the U.S.’ foreign policy was to expand its power and influence in Latin America.

Concept note-3: -D. 1899. Hint: Open door policy, a set of principles announced by the United States of America, called for equal access to trade with China for all nations. Though, the policy was never ratified as a formal pact but later laid the foundation for the foreign policy of the USA in China.
