Concept note-1: -Imperialism. If God and mission were the road to Manifest Destiny, imperialism was the light that lit the way. Between the late 1800 early 1900, the American business man fueled the notion of International Destiny. This group strongly believed in America extending its authority over other lands.

Concept note-2: -“Manifest Destiny” became first and foremost a call and justification for an American form of imperialism, and neatly summarized the goals of the Mexican War.

Concept note-3: -They used the idea of Manifest Destiny to give themselves the right to take over land that already belonged to someone else, claiming it was their destiny to expand westward and spread republican democracy.
