EXPLANATIONS BELOW
Concept note-1: -Propaganda is one-way communication aimed at exclusively profiting the sender and manipulating the receiver’s response and behaviour. Public relations, on the other hand, is a two-way communication process the goal of which is to be mutually beneficial to both the organisation (sender) and its publics (receiver).
Concept note-2: -Propaganda is the dissemination of information-facts, arguments, rumours, half-truths, or lies-to influence public opinion. Deliberateness and a relatively heavy emphasis on manipulation distinguish propaganda from casual conversation or the free and easy exchange of ideas.
