Concept note-1: -Militarism is the belief or the desire of a government or a people that a state should maintain a strong military capability and to use it aggressively to expand national interests and/or values.
Concept note-2: -Militarism can variously be understood as: an ideology glorifying war; the propensity to use force; military buildup; excessive influence (of either the institution of the military or of the military–industrial complex (MIC)); or the influence of military relations on social relations in general.
