Concept note-1: -The Assembly was the main representative body of the League of Nations. It consisted of delegates of all Member States, which were equally represented: every State had one vote, without geographic, demographic or economic distinction.
Concept note-2: -The Assembly had three forms of power: Electoral college: the Assembly admits new members to the League, elects non-permanent members to the Council, and elects judges of the Permanent Court.
Concept note-3: -The League of Nations officially came into existence on 10 January 1920. On 15 November 1920, 41 members states gathered in Geneva for the opening of the first session of the Assembly.
